Borehole Cameras
Borehole cameras are purpose-built cameras capable of producing continuous video streams while inspecting boreholes and other narrow shafts. Primarily used as a geotechnical solution to inspect wells, open water, and mineshafts for casing integrity, contaminants. Borehole cameras are also utilised during search and rescue operations.
Our borehole cameras are portable video systems feature pan-and-tilt or dual-view options, with either a motorised or manual winch.
Features include:
- Video displays – provides real-time images of what the borehole camera sees
- Recording devices – records the borehole cameras’ images for later viewing
- Borehole lighting systems – allows the operator to obtain clearer images
Groundview cameras are available with cable lengths of 100m (manual), 500m (motorised), and up to 3000m (motorised, special order).
The Geovision cameras are available in several depths ranging from 100m to 650m.
